Why?

Trump's relationship with the truth is troubling and his efforts to discredit legitimate journalists are chilling. Supporting ProPublica's work is a small way to fight back.

How much does it donate?

This is the fun part!

• $1 for any tweet containing "fake news"
• + $1 if "FAKE NEWS" is in all caps
• + $1 if he mentions either @cnn or @nytimes
• + $1 if he incorrectly calls @nytimes "failing"
• + $5 if he mentions @propublica (which he never has)

For example: The failing @nytimes does major FAKE NEWS China story saying "Mr.Xi has not spoken to Mr. Trump since Nov.14." We spoke at length yesterday! is good for $4.

They're a Pulitzer-winning nonprofit investigative newsroom. Learn more about them and their work at propublica.org. The bot is not affiliated with them.

What's up with the name?

"TK" is newsroom speak for "to come." With a President who has a habit of making up his own facts, a well-supported independent press is our best hope for pushing the conversation towards truth.
